Fingers look pruney sometimes but I haven't had them in water

Anonymous
I noticed that sometimes my fingers look pruney (like if I had been washing dishes or after a bath) but my hands haven't been in water. Is this from dehydration? Does anyone else notice this?

Do you have a sensation of them being cold or tingly? Have they turned colors (red, pale/white, or blue/purple)?

Probably a combination of poor circulation and slight dehydration.

Look up Raynaud's -- not uncommon in women.

Normal aging. Drink more water, use lotion. Are you usually hypervigilant about health issues? Then I'd say anxiety may be getting the better if you.

I agree with this. I'm 47, in the throes of perimenopause, and one of the latest indignities is that my fingertips are starting to look mildly pruney.

Look up adrenal fatigue

10:27 - yes. Is it that obvious? I do have anxiety. And I hate it. But I am also 43 so probably joining the world of perimenopause.

PP what do I do for adrenal fatigue?

I'm 38 and healthy but I have dry skin and for me, pruney fingertips are a sign that I'm dehydrated and need some lotion.

Nothing. It's not a real condition.
