And how did I miss this??
What has Hillary been doing to help Walmart be the mega empire of the world? And she's a what you say? A Progressive? Excuse me???? |
Are you really going to post this again? It's been discussed ad infinitum here. And she left the Walmart board in 1992, so you are a little behind.

| It Arkansas, stupid |
|
WALMART IS KING !
And Hillary wants to be Queen of Pandering ! |
| She still panders too much to big business. Her Goldman Sachs speech was not that long ago. She drug her heels on fracking and Keystone due to excessive pandering to oil and gas. That is a problem. |
WalMart attracts many people who can not afford the boutique stores. And I guarantee there are many DCUMers regardless of income who hit the Mart for light bulbs, toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. I wish people would stop with the pretentious you're too good to shop there. WalMart is a billion dollar enterprise for a reason, and that's because there are people who can't afford the fancy ass places that overcharge but cater to those who need to be seen and pay for ridiculous, overpriced items. |
So vote for Trump. |
|
Is Trump anti-Walmart? I don't think that he is.
Wal-mart is fine. I shop there, I save money. That is good enough for me. |
Like Target and Trader Joes? |
More like Strosniders and Union Hardware. |
What's wrong with Wal-mart? |
Of course he's not. OP is a Sanders supporter. |
It lacks the “class” that the liberal DCUMers must have to impress their friends and neighbors. They would much rather overspend at trendy boutiques than to set food inside a place like Walmart. |
Or at the poor man's version...Target and Trader Joe's. I shop at those stores too but I am certainly not above going into Walmart or Costco. |
|
I don't shop at Wal Mart, as I noted on the "who boycotts Wal Mart" thread the other day.
But Hillary Clinton was first lady of Arkansas, and Wal Mart is the biggest employer in Arkansas (white and blue collar, since they are headquartered there). For her NOT to be involved with Wal Mart as a prominent Arkansan would have been weirder, and she left the board in 1992. |
