I look forward to seeing this. I'm not a huge huge Oprah fan but I loved her in The Color Purple. This was a great story, I hope the movie does the book justice.

Great story. One of the best books I have ever read. Hopefully Oprah will do it justice.

Ha did Nina ever come out? Seems like it was filmed at least 3 years ago, I rememeber seeing 1 trailer earlier this year then nothing.

I agree, but isn't Oprah too old to play Ms. Lacks? Oprah is 60. Ms. Lacks died at the age of 31.

He is not playing Hennrietta, she is playigng her daughter. The book tells the story of the author interviewing Henrietta's family and piecing together her story. Henrietta's daughter Deborah died in 2009 at the age of 60.
