Pls recommend your bottle bag for daycare

Baby will be going to daycare in one month and is formula fed. Pls recommend your bottle bag. Thanks.

Honest question. What's a bottle bag? My son was formula fed at daycare and we just put his bottles in a ziplock bag in his tote bag and then took them out when we got to daycare to put them on his shelf.

You do not need a bottle bag.

OP here. Examples of bags for baby bottles:

I do need a baby bottle bag because daycare is 30 mins drive from home and I don't have any insulated bag right now to keep the bottles cold. I figure if I need to buy something, I might as well get one of the above.

I spent way too long deciding this when my second went to daycare at 3 months. Ended up getting this one:

It's working well. Baby drinks pumped milk. The extra pockets have come in handy and it's big enough that I can throw in whatever she may need that day e.g. a new pack of wipes, swaddle, etc. I also picked it because I thought it would be good for when we start with purees.

I never even heard of this? What is it's purpose? If you are formula feeding, OP, you can just take the bottles in a regular bag and put them in the fridge at daycare.

I put mine in a beer 6 pack. Swapped to a new one every couple weeks.

Read the thread. OP explained that she has a 30 minute commute.

It doesn't matter. Get any lunch bag that fits the amount of bottles you need plus an ice pack

Before you know it your baby will be eating solids. I'd buy a larger insulated bag with a good ice pack and put your bottles in there. Then when baby goes through the food transitions you'll always have enough room.

Not OP, but wow, that is a really good idea!

(And large enough/good quality enough to be used as a lunchbox in upcoming years.

We had this one, but quickly outgrew it: http://www.toysrus.com/buy/accessories/j.l.-childress-maxicool-4-bottle-cooler-black-1905blk-2808210
It wasn't ideal for more than 3 Dr. Brown's large bottles. It was a pain to clean, so I wouldn't recommend it.
We ended up with a regular cooler bag like this: http://www.target.com/p/igloo-stowe-mini-city-cooler-lunch-bag-grey/-/A-16343695#prodSlot=_1_31

We just used a neoprene lunch bag that we already had with an ice pack inside.
