Trump has just swept the five primaries pretty decisively and will likely get the nomination. If he wins the general against Hillary, who will the Democrats blame?
Here are the choices: 1. Americans are dumb, uninformed, bigoted so why would anyone be surprised 2. Sanders did not do enough to support Clinton 3. Those stupid, short-sighted , stubborn Sanders supporters did not get their way and sat out the election 4. Not surprised because there are a lot of sexists and misogynists 5. Democrats f-cked up and should never have nominated someone who was so distrusted and viewed as dishonest Add other reasons if you think I have missed any. |
All of the above! |
I will blame Hillary Clinton's supporters. Sanders would surely beat Trump in the general.

Bush |
+1 But Trump will never win the general election. |
Wishful thinking, OP. |
I believe he has a decent chance of winning if Democrats - and especially the younger voters - decide to sit out the election. Republicans will vote in large numbers not because they like Trump but because they detest Hillary Clinton with a passion. |
Let's see:
Jeb Bush is an enthusiastic supporter of replacing Americans with foreign workers. Marco Rubio sponsored two bills to increase the number of foreign replacements. Donald Trump said that we should not be replacing American workers with foreign workers. And the American media still thinks Donald Trump is the crazy one. |
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) 2007 Global Alumni Conference -- Santa Clara, California, July 6, 2007. Hillary Clinton reassured the Indian lobbyists and American corporations that she supports an expanded H-1B visa program. Clinton casually disregarded the qualified and talented Americans who are being displaced by the cheap, young, and mostly male, H-1B visa holders. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOW0cUaGWZU |
Better question: Who will the Republicans blame when they lose their majority in the Senate and the White House? Easy to blame Trump, but they voted for him. Who will catch the blame? Reince Priebus? |
And, Hillary has promised not to deport anyone here illegally, unless they have committed a felony. That was enough to make me vow not to vote for her. |
Trump is urging Bernie to run as an independent in his speech just now, and on Twitter earlier today. He knows that's his only chance of beating HRC. |
Nah. He likes having Bernie in the race. Bernie exposes Hillary’s hypocritical positions. |
Nope. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/04/polls_say_bernie_is_more_electable_than_hillary_don_t_believe_them.html |
Yep ......... and he is also reinforcing Sanders supporters belief that the Democratic establishment rigged the primaries to let Hillary win. |
