Arlington Public Schools Preschool Montessori Lottery Results?

Has anyone heard back about APS preschool Montessori lottery results yet? Is there a separate lottery held at each elementary school? I wonder if email will be sent out in addition to snail mail? Yes, I know I could call and ask, but I don't want to bug them. I can't wait to hear!

I think each school holds their own lottery, and the method of communications might be dependent on the school.

We got our acceptance letter today via snail mail.

That's great. Where did you get in? We applied to all five that we are eligible for and so far have only received a wait list letter from one (Discovery). Nothing from anyone else.

Yesterday we got a wait list letter from Carlin Spring if that helps.

We applied to Discovery as well and received our wait list letter last Friday. I would love to know your wait list number, if you wouldn't mind sharing. We are #13, and I have absolutely no idea how good or bad that is.

Any updates on the letters. We have not received any expect the waiting list from Discovery. I do not know if I should call all of them to find out.

Is #1 on the wait list the very first person drawn, or is it the first person who didn't actually get an initial spot?

We are still waitlisted at Discovery Montessori preschool and beginning to wonder about the upcoming year. Was anyone on here waitlisted last year for the 3-yr-old slots and then later given a spot (not in the low income segment)? If so, I'm curious what number in the waitlist we are currently up to. Last year's list for the 3-yr-olds rolls over as this upcoming year's list for the 4-yr-old slots. Thanks for any insight.
