| Any ideas? We are on snack duty this week. Thanks! |
| Cheese stick or baby bel cheese and half an apple cut up. |
| I don't know if this qualifies as healthy, but we are bringing organic, real fruit juice Popsicles. |
|
Nothing
Seriously there is a lot of standing around in baseball at the younger ages and very little activity for a lot of the kids. |
| Time-intensive but healthy: grapes and tangerine segments in a plastic baggie. |
| agree on keeping it healthy. Fruit is great. |
| Cheese & crackers with a fruit, and water |
| Oranges cut into wedges, put in a gallon ziploc bag. Cheese sticks. Snack bags of honey nut cheerios. |
| I have never seen anyone bring a snack that was touched by them. Everything is individually wrapped. |
+1 Kids don't need a f'ing snack every 40 minutes. I hope this trend dies soon. |
| I am so glad this trend dies by 3rd grade. DS 11 plays baseball - no snacks since AA!! Thank goodness. I understand you still have to do it, so bring individually wrapped items. I used to buy the precut and sealed apple slices and orange slices. By 2nd grade, they start demanding "fun" snacks like chips - so beware. |
AGREE! And all the kids say "when is or what is snack?" They associate rewards with food. |
| Is it for a weeknight game, morning Sat game or Sat. Afternoon? |
Do you have snack suggestions based on weather too?
|
This sounds more like lunch! |
