Have you had Botox, etc... and how old are you?

I have read a lot about people doing Botox, Restalyne, etc... on this site and I'm just curious how many of you have had these types of procedures and how old are you? I recently turned 40 and think I still look relatively young, but my concern is that I will quickly start looking like an old hag in comparison to everyone around me who seems to be getting "work done." I know I shouldn't really care, but I do.

I am 42 and have had botox and juverderm (filler) and really like the filler and when you are young like yourself it lasts a long time.I love how I look after botox. I get it to sort of raise my eyebrows and it does give me a nice arch. However it does not last long at all and I feel like a waste o money. If I had a lot of money I would keep up and get the botox every 4 months or so. I only get the juverderm once a year and it makes a huge difference in my appearance and I feel so worth the money! Make sure you go to a reputable doctor. I've gone to clinics like radiance spa and you are having people that do your nails injecting you! Plus I feel like places like that water down the botox (you can't water down filler products fyi).

I have heard of places that use old Botox...which is less effective.
I go to Dr. Feledy

I've had Botox once about 6 months ago, and debating when I should go in for more. I'm thinking maybe 2x/yr or even every 8 months. I'm 40 and had deep 11's between my eyebrows from my "angry Mommy" face. I loved the way my face relaxed when Botox was in full swing.

If I weren't chicken about Juviderm, I'd love to try it... pain, expense, and semi-permanence keep me away for now.

I'm 38 and have some lines but I am terrified of the feeling of not being able to move my face in the same way after the treatment... I'm just too much of a control freak about my body.

In my experience, and I get botox every 4-6 months and Juvaderm 2x per year - it does not freeze our face. I feel just the same, I still have smile lines around my eyes, but I look less tired and "angry". The Juvaderms plumps up the beginnings of those marrionette lines around the mouth that I know will appear (have started to apear) as I age...... I am 44 - -started about 3 years ago....

How much for the Juviderm... curious if it's the same price range as Botox or double.

I am 35 and have been doing botox since I was 33. I don't do it to look younger, I have a "heavy brow," a la a deep line across the middle of my forehead.
