recommend your sunless tanner

Has anyone tried any 'natural/safe' i.e. paraben free sunless tanners? I'm ready for a summer glow, but not an orange one

I don't know about natural or safe, but TanTowel gives good even color, and I also like Clinique for face.

Jergens - rules!

I can say I have tried them all (almost...) and nothing even comes close to the one made by Bare Escentuals - - Faux Tan. I had insomnia one night and wound up watching QVC at 4 AM... anyway, they were demonstrating this tanner and it was AMAZING. Very natural looking and more importantly, it produced a tan with only one application. The lotion is dark so you can see where it's going as you apply it, and it came with a large squatty brush applicator.

After using it, it's hands down the best stuff around to get a tan in one application - - and it doesn't give that chemical smell that all the rest do. No idea how they got around it, but they managed to.

They say one big bottle will last the whole summer. Not a bad $50.

for the price I like Jergens too for body - it is a moisturizer and it takes a few days to kick in, but it is really natural looking - no streaks. Olay is good too.

Another vote for Jergens. I just use it on my legs because they are always much more pasty white than the rest of me. For me, it kicks right in, and I have streak-free color in a couple hours. Also, I only need to use it once a week or so to maintain color.

Another vote for Jergens. Because it's tanner combined with moisturizer, the color builds up gradually over a week or so and leaves NO streaks. I've been using it for a week and have a nice, healthy glow -- not "tan from spending a week at the beach" color, but color nonetheless.

I didn't like Jergens b/c I mostly hate, hate, hate applying that cream. Since it's so mild and is cumulative, you have to apply it every day. And I don't like the smell of sunless tanner, so I prefer one that is a once a week kind of dark cream.

I have only tried on brand, an inexpensive brand, but I do not remember which one. And I hated the smell. Do they all have that sweet with that underlying "something went sour" odor??

I think that's the smell of the active ingredient. It's the same chemical reaction that turns fruit brown.
