Cycle after egg retrieval

Anonymous
I got my period after the egg retrieval. Waiting a cycle or two before doing the transfer. This morning I had a faint positive on a test but it's the curved frer which are notorious for false positives. Has anyone heard you're more fertile the cycle after an egg retrieval? I'm wondering if this is even a possibility.

OP.
Can you clarify? I assume you had egg retrieval for freeze all cycle and currently waiting for FET? You have not done FET, but you and your partner tried it and now the poas shows faint positive?
I guess that's possible. I think, you should contact your nurse so your RE could verify the positive pregnancy. I heard some RE will monitor the progress until you are released to regular OB.

Yes to questions from pp. I took a blue dye test and an frer today and both had faint faint lines. I posted onto some message boards and others saw the lines. I've heard the new frer tests can result in false positives and we all know about blue dye tests. So I probably need to calm myself and expect to get a negative tomorrow morning!

I took an frer tonight and the faint faint line is now a faint pink line.

That's what I'm hoping! Apparently the new frers can result in false positives though? The line is definitely pink. I'm also cramping which makes me nervous.

If I'm actually pregnant I'll be blown away. We've been trying for years and like I mentioned had an egg retrieval last cycle. Go figure.

+1. One test might be an error, multiple tests however...

Approx 35 days ago I believe? I had the retrieval followed by a full period. Then I ovulated approx 19 days later

I'm sorry, OP, sounds like a chemical. Did you do PGS testing on your embryos?
