| I have repeatedly read that it is NOT. Especially for kids, it was rated as one of the unhealthiest cities about a year ago. Who knows where the research came from.. |

| yes, DC not only has the highest AIDS rate in the US, it dramatically outpaces epidemics in most other US cities, including NY, Phily, Baltimore etc. |

The report is looking at MSAs--so DC proper is only a very small part of the population they're looking at. It's misleading.
