Why was the thread about the Bullis student video deleted?

It was in the "Private/Independent Schools" section of the site. It didn't have any personal information in it. It's not as if the student in question or family was being doxed and DCUM was the platform which was being used to carry it out. Let's face it, the genie is out of the bottle once the media has gotten a hold of it. This thread didn't have anything that wasn't on the 11PM news last night.

The thread was posted prior to the 11 PM news and contained a lot of unfounded speculation. But most importantly, several of the first few posts were sock puppeted. I don't tolerate sock puppeting in the best of times and certainly not with regard to this type of sensitive issue. Once I saw the sock puppeting, the thread was gone regardless of any merits it might otherwise have had.

Ah, yes. One person with an ax to grind starts spamming posts to make it seems like their POV is more prevalent than it actually is. Thanks for the answer.
