Infertility Support and Discussion
| My nurse called me today and told me I had a BFN. WHen I asked her whether or not I had ovulated she said she didn't know. I was under the impression that you could tell if someone ovulated on clomid. |

You can tell if you had an ultrasound before and after ovulation (the before showing the follicle and the after showing no more follicle) and a blood test before and after showing the rise and fall of your LH levels.
If you're charting your temp, your temperature shift will show that your hormone levels shifted as a likely result of ovulation. Of course, you still won't know whether the follicle had an egg in it or whether it was empty. |
| My RE doesn't believe ultrasound is conclusive, as it can be hard to tell whether the follicle is gone or merely re-filled with fluid. In general, people have their progesterone tested 7dpo and you can tell by that level whether you ovulated or not. Next month, ask for that. |
