when did your morning sickness begin to abate?

Anonymous
I am pregnant (only 7 weeks) and home full time with 2 year old twins. I spend my days throwing up all day long and barely able to move. We're looking into getting some tempory help because I've been so incapacitated by the nausea and vomiting.

I had hoped to escape this madness this time around (with a singleton as opposed to my twin pregnancy) but I guess I'm just meant to be a miserable pregnant person.

With my twins the constant nausea/all day vomiting began to abate around 14 weeks and went away around 18.

When did you begin to notice a reprieve?

With first at 17 weeks.
With second at 15 weeks.
With third I am 13 week today and still throwing up at least 2 times a day and completely incapacitated from around 1 pm until I go to bed.... My mom has been here for the last month to help out with my older children because I can't drive without puking and it was just dangerous.
I feel your pain.

Immediately after delivery with the first and still have it at 30 weeks with my second. Would never have survived without Zofran.

I had nausea and severe exhaustion from weeks 6 to 10.

about week 13. I second Zofran if you are feeling so sick you can't function.

13 weeks. I lost nearly 10 pounds during my first trimester from all the vomiting and inability to eat, my doctor then put me on Zofran and I swear it is a life-saver. One day around 13 weeks, I forgot to take it becuase I felt like a human being again... didn't need it ever again after that.

13 weeks and feel super lucky it didn't last longer. It was like a light switch went off and I started to feel better. Knew I was really better when I started to crave a salad. The thought of ANY veggie from week 6-12 grossed me out. Now I eat a salad almost every day! Good luck and hang in there.

14 / 15 weeks for me -- a little bit longer than most other people seem to suffer, but mine started late, as well.

Around 15 weeks for me. I didn't throw up but I had daylong nausea. Keep up your spirits!
