Be honest....is it too early to POAS?
Anonymous
It's not too early to get a positive, but if you get a negative, you won't know whether it's truly a negative or not. So it depends how you will handle the results.

That is why I think I should not. Ignorance is bliss....

If you thbink you might not be able to resist the temptation to test, you can use my trick -- when you wake up drink a big bottle of water right away and then your urine will be too diluted to POAS.

OP: So when did you transfer? 5/20? I transferred on 5/22. I feel your pain (rather, your impatience).
Anonymous
Op here. My transfer was 5/20. I am going bonkers inside wanting to know. I have been so good not to POAS but this is my first IVF and I am very anxious. I haven't POAS in over a year and a half. I was always strong enough to wait...but I'm all nerves now. I've taken 6 failed IUI phone calls so I am used to getting the bad news.

15:05 here. I completely emphathize. It's really hard. It's also really hard to get those phone calls. (I've gotten them too). For your sake, my sake, and countless others, I wish I had some tool for making it more tolerable. In this case, "it" is the waiting and wondering, wondering and waiting, second guessing every decision, making little deals with yourself in order to trick yourself into being able to delay POAS and all that. In other words, I wish I had some words of wisdom. It's a maddening situation.

not too early, i got faint positive then

Not too early at all -- it's 12 DPO and many people see positives at 9,10 etc DPO. That said, some see negatives at 12 DPo and then positives at 14 so you never know...

I feel your pain - we tried on our own this month, and my period is due on Saturday or Sunday, and the wondering about my symptoms is driving me bonkers. But I've had so many negatives that I refuse to POAS until Monday.

So Op, did you test?
Anonymous
OP here....no still waiting it out painfully. I am so scared to see that negative. I might try to POAS tomorrow morning...

OP here....UMMMMMM....I POAS and got a BFP!! Is there any possible way this could be the trigger left over??? I am 11dp5dt.

You should be in the all clear. My RN told me that the trigger was out of my system 10 days after administering it. CONGRATS!!!

Nope, you're pregnant! Congrats! I had a feeling.
