| Hi. Anyone have the dates for this year? And if we can't attend, is it bad? |

It is usually the week or two weeks just after the school year ends. Last year it was 2 weeks. My kid went every day, met lots of kids, learned about the school, its culture, and the neighborhood. Even though she knew kids from her school going to Walls, Bridge made her feel more comfortable and excited about the school year. She made friendships that she cultivated during the summer. |

| Our DC had a conflict with an (academic) summer program a couple of years ago, and it wasn't a big deal. That said, the school made a point of saying that you shouldn't miss for family vacations or the like, and I think the reason they were understanding was because of what she was doing instead. |

| Well, yes, that's the reason I'm thinking it might not be the same weeks this year. Aren't those the weeks that some (now) 8th graders will be on trips abroad? |
