Most likely will go Private...still do Lottery

We are moving to PG soon and based on the schools we are currently zoned for we are 99% sure we are going to do private for K. For those who do private, did you still enter the lottery as a just in case?

Just in case...what? If you would truly have your child attend one of the lottery schools if they were accepted, sure, enter the lottery.

Just in case the Private options do not work out. It is no secret that the Private Schools in the area are competitive, so I was considering still entering the lottery when eligible to ensure that I have explored every option available to us.
