| Proud to watch Gonzaga and SFS alums become National Champions!!! That was an amazing game! Good tourney for DC Independents! Congrats to the Wildcats as well as the Tarheels |
| It is always that way in football and basketball. Many of the players come from the dc/baltimore area. Maryland must get better at keeping them home |
UMD only recruited the one at Unc that doesn't play much. They easily could have had Jenkins and Hart but tragically didn't see the potential . |
| No way Hart would have gone to MD at the time, and likely not under Turgeon either. The guy isn't a good coach. |
| I thought it was a wonderful human interest story that the 2 guys from Gonzaga High were called "brothers from a different mother". One of the moms raised the other boy when the boy's birth mom had issues. Lovely they turned out so well and how cool they both got to play in the championship game! |
| Nate Britt did not graduate fromGonzaga. Just to be clear |
But he went there for 3 years. |
I never said he did.
|
As PP said he went there 3 years which makes him an alum. Kris Jenkins is also an alum and I believe graduate! |
| DC school weirdness aside, it's hard to imagine a more exciting final 10 seconds of basketball. |
| Britt and Jenkins went to mater Dei together and Britt said it was their greatest memory together. |
Who cares? |
| His mother had issues. Yes, logistical issues because she is a basketball coach. |
Awww must be a Gonzaga dad. Britt hated Turner and left. Best decision he ever made I'm guessing. |
Plus, I have some confidence they'll legitimately graduate from Villanova. Couldn't say the same about UNC (where only 50% graduate, and among those most do it because of the "tutors") |
