If you matched or are hoping to get off waitlist. There is a parent listserve:
parents-and-friends-of-bruce-monroe@googlegroups.com. We matched although it was low on our list but are now finding that at least 6 other neighborhood kids will be there as well and are feeling a little bit more positive about it. |

Has anyone inquired/figured out the lottery process as it relates to the new separation of lotteries for Spanish-dominant and English-dominant applicants? Do we know if there will be quotas of 50%-50%?
This could make be for very different classroom compositions from years past. |

| I'm wondering about this too -- we applied English-dominant with IB preference and got waitlisted. Based on past demographics it is hard to imagine 50% of the incoming class is English dominant with no spots left for us. Anyone else in our position? |
