| When I click "Add more schools" on Myschooldc.org, it takes me through the entire application again, as if I am redoing it. It then gives me the chance to add 12 schools and sort them. I stopped when I got to that page, and just want to make sure that that's how it's supposed to be. Just putting one school on that new list isn't going to erase any of our waitlist positions or our match, right? I'm guessing this is a stupid question, but I'm nervous to mess something up here. |
| I think this may require a call to MySchoolDC. |
| I've added new schools like four times already. Relax. you're fine, and it's not going to erase anything. Yes, that is how it is set up. |
| When I add schools it adds to the ones I've already selected (and am already waitlisted for) - so those show up in my list of potential 12, and then I can just fill in the rest. I only confirm/rank the one I'm adding (though I think I may have been given the chance to change the ranking for everything at that time, I can't recall). It's definitely different than last year. I wondered if it was set up that day to restrict people to 12 choices - but not having used all 12, I wouldn't know what it looks like if you already had 12 on your list. |
Yes, I had 12 on my list. It shows me a blank list of 12 schools to add and sort. |
| Can you change your preference order of waitlisted schools? |
Yes - this is new this year. Read the Myschooldc FAQs |
