| Would an older single mom( in her late 20s or 30s) date a young guy ( in his early 20s) if he was mature? |
| I did at that age, although i never felt close enough to any of them to introduce them to my child. It wasn't the age difference (ten years is nothing). Either i wasn't really ready to make a commitment, or i was looking for more than they offered. |
| I guess I did at 28 with a child to a 24 yo. I couldn't get past the age difference. Looking back, that was silly. Today, I would totally date a 28yo (I'm 32). |
| Heck yeah. Cougar town! |
| I'd totally be up for that but I wouldn't be interested in taking it past "dating" |
| My friend is. She's 35 and he's 24. So far they have a great and mature relationship. |

My SIL had a DD in high school when she started dating my brother. He was I think 26 at the time.
But I doubt your typical DCUM mom would do it. |
| Yes they will. If they're young Australian men they will "date" them. I've seen it plenty of times |
This is old? |
| The guy would have to have his shit together, but yeah. |
| Yes. Friend had three kids at 34, newly divorced. She met a 26 year old with no children. I thought no way it would last, but they have now been married 5 years now. Rather than him being very mature, I feel she was just kind of immature, and still is. She did and does however, have a very good job, and the flexibility to take vacations and to go out weekends while her kids were with their dad. This helped because the younger guy and her were able to enjoy life and have fun together. |

Plenty of my friends have dated young guys. Generally the guy is very mature for his age and the woman is kind of a "young at heart" type with younger pop culture references. One of my 40-year-old friends married a guy who was 25 at the time. They're a super-cute couple. Another friend is happily living with a guy who is 15 years younger.
I had a 23-year-old pursue me when I was 36 and a new (single) mom. He was super cute and I let him kiss me a couple of times, but I couldn't get past the age difference. |
| If the woman wants more kids she's nuts to do it. Wasting those last few years of eggs. |
| Just the fact that you think older is late 20s - wow you are so immature. |
Your typical DCUM isn't having kids in HS and a single mom in her 20s. |
