Waitlist Happy Endings

| Are there any parents who were Wait Listed at one grade (say Pre K or K) reapplied and admitted the following year to one of the top private schools (GDS, Sidwell, Beauvoir, or Maret)? Any positive experiences with this please share. We are hopeful this will happen for us. Applied to Pre K at one of the top schools and was wait listed; decided to reapply and are hopeful that gives us a better chance. |

| Why not simply ask the admissions folks at each school you've applied to? I'm sure they'd tell you if being waitlisted last year will help your prospect this year. |
