If you are an executive with a stressful job, how do you relieve that stress if you don't work out?

Husband gas bad needs , feet and one arm has a bad shoulder. He's not a big drinker, but does have a glass a wine every now and then. We do have active and rest weekends but he is frazzled. He can't quit but is on the verge. I go my best as his Wife to keep him motivated and to lift his spirits but Im stressed. He doesn't want to meditate, try a different way of working out (like Swimming or biking).. I'm at a loss here.

Is he overweight? How much of it is him working more than he really has to vs. the stress of the job? If the job is too stressful, he needs to get another job. Walking is a good gentle exercise.

Maybe he just needs an easier job.

Should try swimming ... it is low stress on a body...can use a weight belt if he can't do anything else

I'm sorry to sound like an alarmist, OP, but this is how people have heart attacks.
He needs to care for himself asap.

Do you work? Can you get a job to help relieve his stress and let him get a different job?

Am I the only one confused by the post? Gas bad needs?

Is the problem the occasional glass of wine? Why is that a problem?

And that stresses him out? Or is related to the wine drinking?

i think the point is that he can't work out - which is a known stress reliever - because he has the physical issues. not sure how or if wine is related.

When you have bad knees, you can't work out in certain ways, and therefore you can't relieve stress in those certain working out ways.
I'm typing slow and hoping you are reading and moving your lips and understanding this.

Stop obsessing about the wine. It's 11:00AM get a grip.
