Do you tip at the Starbucks drive-thru?

| Had a confusing interaction this morning that made me realize the worker was asking if I wanted change or if I was leaving a 5 dollar tip. She was not impolite in any way, just confused. I didn't realize why it would even be a question--just thought she had poor math skills!- until after I drove away... |

Why in the hell would you tip at Starbucks? Those baristas don't make $2.05 an hour like a restaurant server. They make a good wage. |

| Tip every time - drive through or inside. Usually a dollar a drink, sometimes a little less - if I get change, it all goes in the box |

I'm Canadian (now in DC) and my Canadian hometown has drive through Starbucks. I don't tip at them here, or there. |
