Carpool or van service options from Capitol Hill to Bethesda schools?

Our son is attending Woods Academy in Bethesda in the fall, and I'm interesting in exploring carpool or van options with Hill families from nearby schools (no students from the Hill currently at Woods). Woods apparently is quite close to Holton, Landon, and Mater Dei. It may be close to others as well. If you're interested, let me know!

I'm not in Capitol Hill, but hoping that DD's school (Lycée Rochambeau) has a similar option leaving from the Hill this Fall, because it's in route to work. If her school doesn't provide a school bus option from the Hill, I would be interested in a vanpool service of sorts.

Super (et bonjour!). If you are open to having the return trip to be in the 3-3:30 pm range, and then having your child go to an after-school program at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop from 4-6:30 pm (near Eastern Market metro), I'm hoping to get enough interest to arrange a van to make that trip once a week.

So Lycee Rochambeau is officially added to the list of schools "near" Woods, and I'm open to hearing from Hill families who want to carpool/vanpool from the Hill to LR and Woods!

For those of you who may be interested in carpooling from the Hill to Bethesda schools, whether it's Lycee Rochambeau, Holton, Landon or whatever, please check a posting on MOTH I just sent out yesterday (search for it under "Woods Academy"). I just got off the phone with a dad on Capitol Hill interested in sending his kid to Rochambeau, and interesting in carpooling. It won't work for us because the Woods is not located close to the Rochambeau campus he needs to go to, but it may work for you! And of course, if you're interested in carpooling to a locale close to the Woods Academy, please let me know!

Hey, this is the first Rochambeau parent. We're going with transportation through the school. For the dad you spoke with, he can go through the school as well.

Thx. He didn't want to do the bus, unless the bus is coming to the Hill. If it's coming to the Hill, let me know and I will tell him to reach out to your transportation dept again.

They haven't posted the schedules yet, but I was going to request a stop in Capitol Hill since its en route to work for me. I assume that its much easier to get a stop there since there are likely a couple other families in that area. Also, they've had a stop on Capitol Hill previously.

Do any of the Bethesda area school already have a bus from Capitol Hill. A few of the VA ones have buses from Eaterm Market.

I'm not aware of any of the Bethesda area schools having a bus from Capitol Hill, but they certainly would be wise to do so as the demand would be there if a transportation solution were offered. If you're on MOTH, checkout my posting for families at Bethesda area schools.
