Just finished a book and am looking for another.
I'm willing to pay a small fee but would be especially interested in anything that falls under the "unlimited" rubrix. I tend to vaccilate between murder mystery/suspense, biographies, and the occasional chick lit (if it has some witty humor to it). Any and all suggestions welcome! |
| I'm years behind-I'm currently reading gone girl borrowed from the library |
I'm currently reading "Me Before Your" by Jo Jo Moyes. It's chick lit, but really, really good! It's an emotional read. |
Sorry, it's "Me Before You"
|
| I'm reading the Luckiest Girl Alive -- it's supposedly in the same genre as Gone Girl. So far, it's pretty good. I got it through my library. No need to buy Kindle books! Check with your library! |
| Recently finished a binge of Liane Moriarty books. They are fantastic. Can't wait until her next one is released. |
| Have you read "Girl on the Train"? It wasn't the best bill I've ever read but def a page turner. |
OP here - I have pretty much pummeled through all of her books and love them. Is there any word on when she plans on releasing a new one? |
OP here - ain't got time for that! I love my Kindle; I love the ease of use and accessibility to new books when I'm done with an old one. The "unlimited" feature lets me borrow books without paying, similar to a library without the library visit. Having a full time job and kids to take care of limits my ability to browse the racks like I did when I was younger. |
MoCo is has electronic books - and they get sent to your Kindle - without the library visit - and without having to pay for unlimited. I don't understand the whole Unlimited thing - MoCo has better selection and its free. But for your original question - currently reading everything Changes by Jonathan Tropper and The Visitors by Sally Beaumann. |
There isn't any rack browsing - you go to the library website, search and checkout. The newer books are harder to get on demand, but the process is not much harder than buying a book from Amazon. |
With all due respect, can we please get back to the original question? I'm looking for ideas for books to read. The modality I choose to obtain them is MY choice. Thanks! |
| The Lake House by Kate Morton. The Passenger by Lisa Lutz. Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff. |
| This Little Life. |

I just finished M Train by Patti Smith, really enjoyed it. I'm now reading: Nagasaki: Life after Nuclear War and The Lost Child: A Novel.
(and I also read kindle books from the library, don't hate!) |
