| I'm looking for a camp option that spans the entire summer that my first grader with behavior problems could attend without the concern of being kicked out. My child has no formal diagnosis but a number of their traits align with kids that have ADHD. We are currently working with them and are making progress. But as summer nears, we need to decide on where they will attend. If you know of such a camp please post suggestions. Thank you |

| I would look at SN schools. Most have summer camp options. You could search the SN forum. |
This x 1000. Also look at this http://www.summeredge.org/page |
| Other than special needs camps and JCC don't know of any that can deal with kids with behaviors. But I guess it depends on what kind. Can you hire a shadow |
I have the same issue with my 4th grader. I have always run into trouble with the keeps he has attended, and it is a big bummer. Hiring a shadow would be prohibitively expensive. The special needs camps are extremely expensive from what I have seen. |
| The thing that worries me is that you are just asking this question in late March. A lot of camps fill up in January and February when registration opens. So even if you do get some good suggestions you might not be able to ge |

*to get in.
Sorry, iPad issues. Where are you located? I have a couple of friends with similar kids and I could find out where they go. |
| In Northeast Silver Spring I would recommend Colesville Child Center, MUSA Martial Arts and Camp Sonshine. |
| You might look into camps through the Montgomery County Therapeutic Recreation Department. |
