One day in Charleston, SC, what to do?

If I were in Hazelton, PA, I'd gladly eat at the Olive Garden, but not in Charleston where there are so many better options available. |

+1 OP, take the boat out to Fort Sumter for the tour and boat ride. Kids will love that, plus a carriage ride. |

| We spent a morning doing an eco tour. Company was called Barrier Island or some such. Left out of isle of palms marina. Had lunch at the restaurant by the marina when we got back. |

| Go on a carriage ride to get your bearings. Pick out a house tour or two. EAT. There are some AMAZING small restaurants! |

Eat. Carriage ride. Browse King Street and Market Street. Eat again.
I would choose Hominy Grill for lunch and FIG for dinner. |

| Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) for lunch, Food is Good (FIG) for dinner. Go for a carriage ride, swing on the swings down by the water, maybe tour an old home. I love Chas. |
