Any recommendations? Just moved here. Not planning for a baby anytime soon, but figure I may as well find someone VBAC friendly if I decide I want to go that route.
I've seen some recommendations on this board for NoVA, but not much for MoCo. |
You could try Dr. Apgar, who is great. Not sure if he's up for VBAC, but he's worth a call.
Dr Robert Footer has an office in Rockville and one in NW DC. I am contemplating a VBAC and he is supportive, although it doesn't look like it will happen because #2 is also breech (I'm 34 weeks). Either way he is a great doctor and I would suggest giving his office a call.
18:10 means Richard Footer, not his cousin Robert. I was also going to recommend him - search this forum for him and you'll find more info.
No, Robert Footer has an office in D.C. and one in Rockville. He delivers at Sibley and Shady Grove. I recommend him as well. I have been going to him for a long time and he is great!

I am the 18:10 poster and I meant Robert Footer, not Richard as the next poster indicated. I am quite sure I know who my doctor is! I can't speak to Richard Footer re: VBAC deliveries as I've never met him.
