DOR affecting menstrual cycles

Anonymous
I'm wondering if you were diagnosed with decreased ovarian reserve, did it start to affect your menstrual cycles, and is that associated with worsening infertility?

I'm diagnosed with mild DOR. It wasn't affecting my cycles until recently. Now my cycles have shortened (24 days instead of 28) and my period is short too (2 days instead of 5). I'm concerned about these changes and what this means for future infertility worsening and infertility treatment.

I was diagnosed with DOR (AMH .3). After having a child, my cycle length was much shorter and periods lighter, so I wondered if this was related to the DOR. Or perhaps age (38).
However, short cycles aren't necessarily bad; it's your luteal phase that has the most impact on fertility from what I understand. So, with a 24 day cycle, perhaps you are ovulating a little earlier than day 14, and it's not a big deal. However, I was ovulating at day 16 and getting my period at day 23 so the RE put me on progesterone to lengthen my luteal phase. My period was definitely heavier too--more time for the uterine lining to build up.
