Hi ladies - Husband and I have the opportunity to travel in a month or so and I'd like a beach vacation with little/no chance of vacay. We are willing to travel overseas since we have bus. class tickets but probably no more than 7-9 hours.
Ideas? |

As long as you don't have stranger sex you are in the clear.
Please post in solid sentences next time. I can't comprehend text posting. I know it's cool hip and trendy but it comes across as no speaky English. BTW, no one says vacay anymore. It's baby talk. |
| Idea: Write like an adult. |
| OP here: Wow! That was an intense response for a simple inquiry. |
| You'd like a beach vacation with little chance of vacay? What does that even mean? |
| I have no suggestions, but thought your post was seriously just fine. Some people woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! Sometimes I see posts that are written in text, teenager speak, but this was not one! |
+1 Maybe you should lie down. |

Not sure why you got such negative responses, OP.
I would probably look at Hawaii. There're some great beach options in Europe but I think April is too early for them. |
Yes, a bunch of old cranky hags up early this AM. Florida if you want relatively close Greece or Spain Hawaii |
| OP here: Thanks everyone. Hawaii sounds amazing and Greece was on our list. |
| I would check temps for Greece - we haven't been that early in the year. |
We were there in April one year and it was nice but not quite really beach weather (and FWIW they still considered it off-season). |
| Do you typically find mosquitos at the beach? Sand flies, yes... but not mosquitos, I don't think. |
| Hawaii is not a 7-9 hour flight. Is Greece? What about S. California? |
Good point, although if you are in business class do you mind that much? Is SoCal beach weather then? I think it's still a bit cold. |
