Exterior painting and siding replacement - Bethesda recs please!

We are looking to replace a few rotting boards and then repaint the whole of the exterior. Very small wooden house in Bethesda.
Do you have anyone to recommend, and if you have done this recently, about how much did it cost you?

Do you have exterior dimensions? And is just plain old wood siding or is it cedar shake siding?
Some paint companies can replace wood siding.
