Do your read your prospectuses (prospecti)?

I don't. Should I be?

Usually I don't. I've also stopped voting though - too many proxy statements and no real issues at stake. It's usually just Board elections, confirming the auditor, and then a few annoying shareholder proposals about exec comp.

I do read Warren Buffett's annual letter.

I don't. I wouldn't bother unless you wanted to compare fees or something like that. It's like all of the user agreements on software... I know I should read everything but it's too much information to absorb and I don't have time for that.

No. I wish they didn't even send them.

I look at mutual funds and ETF prospectus before buying. Usually just to get an idea of fees and holdings. After I've bought hardly ever.

Nope! And I used to draft them for companies.

+1 That is exactly what I was going to write! I would read it for a private offering but not a publicly traded company.
