Anonymous
So Yesterday My DS noticed his resting heart rate was at 110. Today he texted me at around 1:37 showing me a screen shot of his heart rate and it read 107. His girlfriend who also has ADHD but takes a difference medication for it had a heart rate of 101. "(his girl takes Vyvanse 30) They both High School and they were both in Econ and Finance class. So is not like they were moving around much Only tie he walked around was when he went to the bathroom. I know one of the side effects of Adderall is high beats are high heart beats. Did you check your ask your DC how they are feeling? He said he feeling okay but not hungry.

Serious hypochondriacs.

No, we don't monitor it. For a while, we monitored blood pressure because the medication (guanfacine) can sometimes cause low blood pressure. But after a few months at the therapeutic dose and normal readings, we stopped.

My daughter has felt infrequent periods of rapid heartbeat on Concerta. We were sent for an ECG, which was normal, but we were not able to turn it with a rapid heartbeat episode.

I would be worried, but then I am a cardiac worrier. My heart sometimes does weird things, none of which have been captured on EEG or holter, which is too bad because I know they really happen.

I would make a note of it and ask the doctor.
