What do you guys know about SMU and Trinity(CT)

I'll be visiting both schools very soon. What do you guys know about these schools? I hear they're both very preppy/WASPy, but SMU is a lot more conservative than Trinity.

SMU is home to the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Sounds like it's a good fit for you.

Get on College Confidential. Spend time with your peers, at least electronically, not with a bunch of DC moms. Since you are visiting both anyway you really don't need random perceptions. I think you are going to be very disappointed with Trinity - I don't think it's anything like you seem to think it is - but that's your call to make.
