Is Hampden-Sydney the "college version of Woodberry Forest?"

| I'm considering sending my son to this school.( he's been accepted) A friend told me that it was "the college version of Woodberry Forest" This dicurages me. Woodberry isn't really known for good academics. We are looking for a school with extremely strong academics. Is my friend right about HSC? |

| The bottom 2 or 3 guys in Woodberry's class generally end up at Hampden Sydney. So if you have such a low opinion of Woodberry, you probably shouldn't be too excited about the college that takes in its weakest students |
