I agree with the other poster. You are a clown. |
Surprised L$ staffers and parents haven’t labeled you yet a clown, dummy, bud, feline or anything else. They’re working hard spamming the thread against opposing views. Wonder why? 🤔 |
Ex-Loudoun ECNL parent here. I doubt there is anyone in the soccer community that takes Loudoun’s ECNL teams seriously. As many posters have explained the coaches are mediocre at best. Recycling sessions and copying YouTube drill with no real purpose and clarity behind them. Children of coaches, of friends, and of donors have a step ahead before anyone else. Doesn’t matter if that someone else is more talented and committed. Thus, we left. Best decision ever. |
Where did you go? Is it better? |
|
So LS is so terrible. Which begs the question, why would “parents”, who have happily moved on, spend so much time gathering all these scores (for both boys AND girls AND EVERY age group) and keep posting over and over? And complain about how much coaches make? Or about the TD who at a big club most parents don’t even know?
Answer: They wouldn’t. Thanks coach. |
does Loser Soccer have a philosophy or is it more about sustaining the cash influx? |
| Where are all the Loudoun Soccer parents? |
| At their kids’ games enjoying their experience. As opposed to staffers from other clubs reciting scores anonymously |
LS parent here. I think the hate is grossly exaggerated. But you’re kidding yourself if you think staffers are posting scores. Safe bet it is an ex-parent holding grudges. Although for now I do have to admit that my club does not look well. I frankly couldn’t give two asshats about scores. As long as my kid is doing exercise I’m fine. Nepotism exists everywhere. LS is definitely not exempt to it. Do I like it? No. Does it influence my choices? Probably not. I do, however, find it hypocritical to sell yourself as a non-profit but spending close to 1M a year in a handful of folks. |
Don’t care if LS has an overall philosophy. I only care if my kid’s coach has one and if it’s useful. So far it isn’t. There’s talent on the team but it’s not being molded and grown. Unfortunately, the choices within reasonable distance are no better and I won’t subject my kid or my spouse to FCV’s toxic culture, so we stay here. My kid ain’t playing in the pros anyhow, and might still get some form of scholarship despite the poor coaching. But, if she doesn’t our 529 plan will cover. I think a lot of other LS kids/parents are in the same boat. I’d love to take over both LS and FCV, clean house of toxicity in the coaching and admin staff and take all the rich talent to a higher plane. But, alas I already have a full time job ... so I accept what it is. |

| Is there anyone in Loudoun who can get a kid to a professional level? I don't think so. You need to move to get your kid into a serious program. |
I’m not sure if you’ve seen the other posters but it has been mentioned several times. Just in your area alone you have several avenues besides the L$ and FCV toxicity. Leesburg FC, Barça (rumors are flying about them leaving NoVa though), and VA Revolution. Where there’s a will there’s a way. Do your child a favor and leave that marketing focused and facade style coaching club. |
You're annoying and desperate. I'm not an LS fan at all. But from what it sounds like, you're behind all these negative posts and you're more toxic than FCV. Do yourself a favor and stop the negativity cause no one is moving over. You're probably at VAR, is that correct? |
+1000. Bad options in Loudoun County. No offense to the VA Revolution/Leesburg FC crowd, but if a club’s top teams are playing in mid-tier NCSL divisions, that club isn’t a long term solution for strong players who are committed to improving their level. My advice: figure out which neighboring county you prefer driving to and get used to making the trip to Fairfax, PW or Arlington. |
