| What does Loudoun 07 have to do with Mclean people going to WSVA? Me thinks this thread has gone off the deep end. |
It's probably time for this thread to die anyways. |
I am sure McLean would love that.
They don't want to lose any 08s to the WS U13 team next year. Stay and pay us please. |
| Until Louise is gone, it will always be about raising money first and foremost. Roster sizes, outsourcing camps, etc. |
| Any word on McLean ECNL coaching staff next year-esp for younger ages? |
| So many posts about 2007s, relax people.... |
| 07s need an influx of talent, only defense is solid anyway. |
| Will be difficult for Spirit to recruit players when they don’t exist in a few weeks. |
Now why do you have to start that BS again? They aren't going to go on the record saying they are keeping the DA only to pull it two months later. That's bad for overall business. Now what happens in 2020-2021 may be open for debate, but Spirit is not going away in a few weeks. |
Being handed over |
Huh? |
Being handed over. |
To whom, wise guy? |
WS wants the forward and backs obviously. Mclean can keep the rest It's tough to be so close yet so far |
|
Word is that FCV will effectively take over WSVA in the next year or two. They will likely let it move off to GF/Reston then let it die a slow death while incorporating qualifying players, if any. Given that head coach is from FCV and assistant coach is still running FCV this is a legitimate scenario. One of the assistant DA coaches is also now running the futsal academy for DC United and GM’s daughter is on the 05 DA team, so they are getting their hooks in there as well. FCV is looking to be primary feeder club into both pro clubs.
I suppose if you are on WSVA or thinking about it, you might still be able to play DA in the future, you’ll just be wearing a different jersey. |
