Who cares. How about Arlington sponsored by Amazon lol. This is no Fly Emirates thing. In the end it is a kids soccer not European soccer where sponsors shell millions of dollars and players get part of it. How much do Arlington families earn from Amazon sponsorship? Or even NVA from Audi back then when they had Messi and CR7 playing for them?

The families don’t earn anything, that money goes to the clubs. But it’s telling how far your brand fallen when a club goes from partnering with Audi to an urgent care place and local realtor.

lol. What brand are you talking about. These clubs are not Pro clubs like DC United or NWSL teams. The big question is: do the players have the skills to play and showcase their talent to a collage coach? The rest is all noise.

Speaking of brand, there is a MoCo club that carries a plumbing company as sponsor but they will chew any team in the North and mid Atlantic. On the Pro level, FC Barcelona played without a sponsor for a long long time because it was a club sponsored by members.

Since these youth clubs are sponsored by parents, whatever they put on the shirt is irrelevant

Tell me you don’t understand the youth sports business without telling me.

See. In Soccer there is no player or players bigger than any club. If the coach is good, he will build a competitive team. Plenty of examples out there (FC Barcelona, PSG, Naples…etc) and we are talking some real soccer stars who left (Messi, Mbappe …) not 13 year old kids.

Does Lionel Messi pay to play? Does Kylian Mbappe come from a wealthy family residing in Loudoun County? Additionally, it appears you may have referred to Naples incorrectly; Napoli is the name of the football team, whereas Naples refers to the city.

well that coach was tearing down a player that carried the team all season because she wasn’t one of his favs. Even though his favs weren’t even on the radar of the previous coach from a production pov. Word travels fast… hopefully that coach doesn’t play weird favorites and chase more kids to rev. Or hopefully he does as next season is right around the corner and it will be a good game…. For rev

Rev plays their favorites too. Ask the parents. It is the same thing. Rev is LS 2.0

when your ID call ups are parent/politics driven and not the defenders/attackers that kept the team afloat during the season and previous seasons it creates a messy environment. Add GA announcement and to the mix and obviously families run for the hill. There was no loyalty. Now apply that same to all age groups.

It’s clear they didn’t account for the staggered md ecnl tryouts. Or players heading over to rev for fresh air. Enter franchise reboot. Speaking of which who is the new sponsor?

Anita's is the new sponsor. Confirmed!
roflmao srs?

lol imagine going from audi to patient first. hideous kits.

Wow patient first what a level drop. And the nightmare of multiple socks and shorts colors!

A legitimate question for you? Do they give the players enough chances to get recruited? If Yes, move on. If No, then let’s trash the program and talk about sponsors and sock colors etc.

Every club does it. Some are more open about it than others and egregious. Bethesda is absolutely horrible and very open about you paying the coach or your kid will not start.
