lolz if the PP thinks not having easy access to abortion won't factor into most women not choosing to have an affair. these men will be stuck with trolling the loop in dc for some non-wife puthy. |
Women also bear the consequences of giving birth now - fistulas, c sections, incontinence, infections, depression, tears, scars, blood clots, varicose veins, abruptions .... For men it's always been less than a minute of effort. |
Wrong. Absolutely wrong. The fundamental rights that Roe enshrined have never been seriously debated. The viability line as the point at which the state has an overarching interest in curtailing those rights has been the controversy. This is the most wrong headed and radical decision of our lifetimes. It will not stand |
Yes, I agree. But I think they will vote this November, and I think the GOP is going to get the whooping of a lifetime. |
Every sperm is sacred, right? That is your mantra. |
They will travel to Illinois, which will be the only abortion rights and women's health mecca in the middle of a vast sea of red. They already do. The blue states will want to do all they can to help, but the demand will outstrip the availability within short order. |
Always the talk about women on affairs assumes that the man is not guilty |
This is delusional thinking. It is not a slam dunk. The hyperbole on this thread is mindboggling. |
This. We should do it now and pack the Court before it’s game over. |
Wait till the fascist forced birther equivalent of the Fugitive Slave Act passes. They’ll be cooling their heels like everyone else. |
If pills are being mailed, how can the USPS regulate it? Is it similar to how wine cannot be mailed to some states due to state laws? |
That's not a real option. It's about as real as saying one option is for liberals to start moving en masse to red states to change the vote there. In fact, that is probably more realistic. The notion that getting a small group of elite students to boycott a handful of schools will change anything is delusional. Sorry, but that's the truth. |
I always got the sense that a lot of people, especially liberal legal scholars, liked Roe for its results, but knew that it was a decision based on weak legal grounds. A bad legal decision is still bad, even if you’re happy with its results. |
Who will be absolutely SHOCKED when they miscarry, can’t get the fetus removed, and are worried about sepsis. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Savita_Halappanavar |
