In what ways would you be considered trashy?

(off-but-on-topic same time ) As an instacart driver single mom, thank you for your tips. We only get $7 per batch and $.40 fuel assistance pay on the average 30-item order. Same pay even for those that order 4 cases of water to the 3rd floor walkup apartments (happens weekly for me ) so the tips mean a lot to me. We don't just deliver it we shop it too!! Most ppl don't know that!!

You'd be suprised how many ppl don't tip for me going to Aldi's (or even Wegmans or Dollar tree or Costco, etc..), putting a quarter in for a cart, fighting the madness and trying to pick decent veggies etc, waiting in those long ass lines (they do move fast though), jenga pack everything so the eggs don't break and get it to your door without getting pulled over for speeding again and then we can swipe complete. Bonus points if the dogs are loose...

Guess I am trashy too huh for asking for a tip
That's my post. I typically order just under $300 worth of groceries from Aldi which is a lot. I communicate with the shopper the whole time and typically tip them an extra $15-$20 which is totally worth it to me. Even the terrible shoppers. I know they are doing their best and I hate shopping.

If you are ordering $300 of groceries, you should be tipping at least 10 percent which would be $30. But, a lot of people don't even tip so $15-20 is still better than that and I would take it -another shopper.

Growing up, I could only envy people who got to go to Cracker Barrel on roadtrips. My mom packed sandwiches and fruit into a cooler and we ate them in the backseat of a no a/c car.

At least she gave you fruit - MIL would be damned if the kids would have gotten anything other than junk food chips.

One time we were driving across the Canadian border back to the States. They stop you at the border and won’t allow agricultural products across the border. My mom had just bought a bag of oranges and she made us pull to the side and eat them all so they would not be thrown out.

I grew up in California back when they had restrictions on bringing produce into the state. Coming back from out of state road trips, we would just lie about that bag of oranges. Much easier.

I wear really dirty old sneakers.

Other women have told me I'm trashy - outright, to my face - my whole life. Not in the sexy sense, but in the "wears discount clothes and doesn't obsessively try to fit in" sense. I am trashy in this way, though I was raised to think of it as frugal and independent. So it doesn't fee trashy to me even though I understand that some perceive it like that.

I wasn't clear. In addition to the 20% tip, I give them an extra $15-$20

I drive with my pants undone. It's just more comfortable.

Haha, I love it. It's a thing now to tell everyone you are Poly. Sorry but that doesn't make you special.

Their Dad and I never were married just engaged
Live on the same street as him and still act like we are together (family outings, hanging out at night, though we don't have sex). Co dependent coparents.
I graduated from a 4 year state college and I never stepped foot on campus, as I did it online while taking care of my babies.
I don't have a good job because I didn't have time for internships so I just do delivery work
I smoke weed and vape
I have been to jail for hitting my kids dad, even though I was the one who called 911 for help
Cps was involved due to this, though case was closed when they saw I take great care of my children, clean home, full fridge
Fridge is full mostly because I'm on food stamps
We have state insurance
Parent pays for most of my rent (this could go either way as far as trash or class I guess) and I've been trying to get on a section 8 waitlist for 2 years.
I Dye my own hair
I have glasses because contacts are too expensive
I've been to inpatient treatment for depression, put myself on a 72 hr hold
Recovering alcoholic

I beat you all

I think my biggest redemption is not dating. My kids have never met a new man or woman and I have been celibate. My friends think I'm a bit crazy for not even kissing anyone in over a year. I also don't have tattoos even though I love them, because I feel like it will make me/ my situation even more trashy.

contacts are shit. glasses are much better.

This stuff doesn't make you trashy- you prioritize your kids, you're working, EVERYONE has done things that weren't good decisions at one time or another. I work in investments, college educated, 2 parents that stayed married, always dated successful straight laced men.

I also had a weekend meth habit for about a year. I tried coke, Molly, weed... But I wanted to try it and loved it. I only did it on Fridays or Saturdays so I was able to sleep and eat and work M-F. I loved the energy and dropped 5-10 lbs (I'm 5'8 so that's not much for me but I liked it)

I don't know why my experience was not anything like what we hear in the news- my skin was clear, teeth fine, I decided to stop when I started living with a boyfriend who would not have been ok regular use.

Anyway , I'll admit I've tried cocaine and Molly, but never meth.People it's the definition of trash. And I stopped partying grew in my career and i got into serious fitness training ... You're not defined by your past and you really do move in the direction of your thinking. Think of what you want in the future, and I would prefer hanging out with you to someone up thread that mentioned poor tennis skills being trasby

I went to a swingers club this weekend in Florida and actually enjoyed it.

This is not trashy, it is just an indication that you are a legitimately bad person. Stop doing that. Someday YOU may be disabled, and in need of those spots, and jackasses like you will have parked in all of them.

I’m 37 and in the best shape of my life. I enjoy the attention that I get. I don’t dress revealing on a regular basis but if dh and I are on vacation together I’ll wear cheeky/small bikinis.
