Infertility Support and Discussion
| please can anybody share their experience with Dr. Greenhouse (good and bad). I have to chose a doctor in SG practice and don't have a clue. He sits in their fairoaks office. does the same doc do retriieval and transfer or will I see different doctors each time. I have read some comments about SG operating as a factory. should i be worried about that since my bottomline goal is to maximize my chances of getting pregnant? please help me out. any other doctors at SG that would be better option? How is SG lab rated? I have also read lot about Dr. Sacks at Columbia. which one is better p[tion SG or Columbia. I know I have asked too many questions... sorry. |

I used Greenhouse and loved him. Use the search feature and plug in "greenhouse" and you can see a lot of other people's thoughts on him too.
Shady Grove's lab is the best in the area. Go to the CDC's website and look up the lastest statistics to compare all the local clinic's numbers. At Shady Grove, whoever is on call will do your retrieval and transfer. I respected and felt comfortable with every doctor I met throughout the entire process. |
| hi thanks for your reply, did you use him for iui or ivf? cdc's site has statistics as of 2006. are there recent statistics available? |

3 IUIs (which didn't work for me) and 1 very successful IVF (I am 17 weeks pregnant)!
2007 is the most recent you can find the mandatory reported stats: https://www.sartcorsonline.com/rptCSR_PublicMultYear.aspx?ClinicPKID=2329 You can find more recent stats on their website: http://www.shadygrovefertility.com/success_rates |
