Moldy dresser

Anonymous
I have an old wooden dresser (solid wood I think) but it got moldy in the basement. I used to have a sentimental attachment to it, but now that there is mold on it, not so much. Help me decide whether to get rid of it or try to improve it? I could use another dresser for my kid but it's too big for that bedroom. They don't make things like they used to, but the top of it has lost its finish. I'd probably have to wipe the mold off to give it away anyway. Would you get rid of a moldy dresser or keep it?

I would sell it on Craigslist. Just because you don't seem to like it.

A moldy dresser is nbd in my opinion. It's not black mold! You scrub it with bleach and water and it would be good as new. And you can always pain the inside of the drawers and the entire dresser.
