Cost to add an exterior door?

Looking at a house that needs an entrance from the house into the garage. What would it cost to add an exterior door from kitchen into garage?

I'd plan for $3500-5000, door can be $300-1000. Cutting into the cement or siding is tuff. Or, DIY.
