How to get out bday invites

Anonymous
My daughter only wants to invite a handful of friends from her class (2nd grade). We don't have contact info for some of the parents. She shouldn't just take invites to school since she's not inviting everyone, right? But I am thinking her teacher isn't allowed to give us the information either. Ideas?

Is there a class "parent"? Ours has an email list for everyone that she was able to give me to do party invites.

I usually evite everyone I have contact info for, and then make written invitations for the others. I ask my child to discretely place an invitation into the classroom mailboxes of those students (assuming your child's school also uses classroom mailboxes). Unfortunately, this has had mixed results and not all parents get the invitations. Sometimes it works. You can also check to see if the room parent for contact information for the other kids.

OP here. I don't think we have a room parent. It's never been mentioned if we do.

Email the teacher and ask for the contact information for the parents. Invitations get lost in backpacks. Kids are n discrete.

I had the same issue with a new kid in my son's class. No contact info and they are not allowed to bring invites to school. I emailed the teacher (apologized for bothering her), but asked her to forward my email to the mom. This way the mom could decide to respond with their contact info or not. Teacher didn't give anything out. Mom responded back immediately.
