What makes a bi guy want to date a woman instead of a man?

I really want to know! If a bi guy was sitting at a bar looking to connect with someone, how does he choose a woman over a man or a man over a woman? How does a woman keep a bi man when she can never give him dick?

I don't even understand these kinds of questions.

What makes a straight male or female want to date one person and commit to them above all others? Even if this means getting no strange any more.

This board needs to stop treating people with different sexual preferences as deviants who are incapable of monogamy. It just means he is happy to enjoy both sexes romantically and sexually. It doesn't mean he needs to have both to be happy, unless that's what y agree with, in which case, well, a lot of straight open marriages do the same thing.

So, he just had more variety in the dating field to choose from. It doesn't make him less likely to commit.

Sorry PP here... Should have extrapolated: It probably goes something like this:

Is s/he interesting?
Does s/he have pretty eyes?
Does s/he have similar interests and hobbies?
When I asked them out, did s/he say yes?

Later open it will go some thing like this:

Do we have similar goals in life?
Do we have a similar work ethic?
Do we both want children?
Do we have similar morals, ideas on family, financial outlook?
Are we sexually and romantically compatible?
Are we able to share the burdens of a household equally?
Do we communicate well?

See, all the questions are gender neutral. Same as a bisexual person. If you have a preference (straight or gay), y just answer according to the person you are dating.

So what makes a straight guy pick the blond? or the Asian girl? Or the athletic girl? Are all blonds interchangeable? So, if a guy prefers blonds, does that mean that he'll never give the attractive brunette who shares several interests with him the time of day, just because she's brunette?

Bi guys pick the person that they partner with by the person who they connect with and are physically attracted to, regardless of their genitalia.

Very awesome response, IMO.

Skinny, slim hips and virtually no breasts.

There is really no such thing as a "bi guy."

The men you are probably thinking about are gay guys who will periodically have sex with women not because they actually desire it, but for other purposes. One of those other purposes is to pretend they're not gay.

Oh FFS, where do you people come from? Most sexuality exists on a curve, like most things. Left handed but bat right? Yep, that too.

Stop perpetuating that women can be bi and men must be gay. It's fluid, and sorry to tell you- a lot of it is influenced by culture and religion. People don't get to explore what is normal and natural to them because of stupid answers like yours.

Bi guys are just like bi women. Some will settle into homosexual relationships. Some will settle into heterosexual relationships. Some will end up single. Some will be cheaters. Some will partner for life, some will end up with a partner who forces them into no sex. Just like you and your pals.
