| Are they open on weekends? I was very surprised to see all the Paris restaurants I looked at are closed on Sat/Sun. Thankfully we're not there for the weekend, but we will be in London. |
| We stayed in the business district, and it was dead on the weekend. But everything was open in other parts of the city. |
| Everything is open at the weekends. Stuff in the City of London might be closed on Sunday and it is indeed a ghost town. However most stuff in the City tends to cater to the office lunch crowd so you shouldn't miss out on too many proper restaurants. Also, the closer you venture to Spitalfields market the more stuff will be open on Sunday, bc Sunday is the biggest day for the market. |
| Yes, restaurants are open. |
| I think we'll be in Mayfair |
| Everything will be open. |
| If restaurants close in London at all, it will most likely be on a Monday. |
Agree, although the same is generally true for Paris. OP, are you maybe looking at restaurants that serve the financial districts of each city? Hard to believe that restaurants across Paris are closed on weekends, it hasn't been my experience at all (with the possible exception of August). |
We stayed in Mayfair and everything was open (although Mayfair is not a huge restaurant destination). It's a huge city. |
