This site is so slow on my laptop. Any thing I can do?

I zip around the web from site to site then DCUM just takes forever to load. Seems to be related to the banner ads slowing things down.

Is there anything I can do to speed things up?

Strange. There haven't been any other reports of this, though your post might trigger some. Can you try clearing the cache on your browser or simply use another browser briefly to see if there is any difference?

On my laptop i haven't been able to access the site for two weeks using any browser, even after clearing cache. I can get to the site on my phone.

NP. I will say that the site is fastest on my desktop (Chrome browser), reasonable but slower on my android tablet (Chrome browser), and painfully slow on my android phone (Chrome browser).

Nope. Used the same wifi on my phone can't get to website. As soon as i switch to 4g i can get to site

It sounds like your wifi's IP address has been blocked. That could be because of bad behavior on your part, the result of an automated procedure (possibly as a result of a false positive), or human error on my part. If you go to:

while connected to your wifi and figure out your IP address, you can click the "report" button here and send me your address. I can then try to figure out what's going on.

I will admit if I try to connect at work on I.E. It is painfully slow / crashes.

I used the whats my ip site. The ip address differs when i use wifi on my phone vs wifi on my computer. Oh well...i guess i'll just look at this site in my phone from now on no big deal

Use your phone to report the address that shows up when you use your laptop. Then I can try to unblock it.
