| Tell me I'm not the only one who misses Arthur. |
It's 'your'. When your kid stops watching a tv show... Maybe it's time to start watching Schoolhouse Rock? |
NP. Nice suggestion, fossil. |
| The day by kid stopped watching Caillou was my happiest day. |
You aren't the only one. And, between you and me, sometimes when I'm at the gym and there's nothing else on early in the morning (I've seen all the episodes of "George Lopez" at least 4 times), I'll watch "Arthur"! For the record, the gym I go to has treadmills with TVs attached to each one, so no one else is subjected to "Arthur" at 5 am. |
| I miss Sofia the First... |
|
Arthur's a quality show. My tween will sometimes still watch an episode. It's a comforting world, where kids roam free, hang out at an ice cream shop, and people like Mister Rogers come visit.
We sometimes will watch ICarly, too, because it's funny. |
At least we fossils are literate. |
| I miss Kipper. |
|
Kipper! My kids are teens and I still think of it fondly, LOL.
Also, Spongebob.
|
I bought the Schoolhose Rock discs to share with my kids -- they were not impressed. I don't know how they could resist Bill sitting on Capitol Hill. |
| I miss Avatar. Can't believe my kids are over Uncle Iro. |
| My 7yo likes Schoolhouse Rocks! This morning we watched Interjections!, Adjectives, and No More Kings (and then we talked about how no more kings kind of skips over the whole decimation of the Native Americans when it talks about becoming the land of freedom, etc.). |
| I miss Curious George. I still love the movies and the books. |
| Sometimes I go back and watch, by myself, the episodes of Shawn the Sheep that we have my son watch while my husband and I are "cleaning our room" upstairs. It's an adorable show. |
