So much good information on this board, thanks to all. 2nd grade DD is currently in therapy and on meds for anxiety but we have needed to address possible ADHD, LD, etc. I would have never known to go to Children's and we were struggling with the $4500 estimate from the private. Waiting to hear back from United HC but am really hopeful for good news! Grateful for the advice and information on these forums.

Out of curiosity, what is your wait time for an appointment? Friend was just told it's a 12 month wait, but we only waited 3

OP here. They told me they were booking into May at this point but someone canceled and we're going in a few weeks. If you're open to last-minute cancelations I don't think the wait is too bad. Perhaps different types of testing have a longer wait?

What number/dept did you call? I tried to get this eval and ended up with an appointment in some other department. Called back several times and literally got busy signals each time.

I had the same experience. The number I was given was to the pain management department. I got another number and left a message but never heard anything back.
